We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate Attorney to join our legal team. As a Junior Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with litigation and negotiation processes. Duties:
- Conduct thorough legal research using resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs
- Assist with case management, including organizing files and maintaining documentation
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Perform administrative tasks related to legal matters, such as scheduling meetings and managing calendars
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong research skills with experience using Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice
- Proficient in legal drafting techniques and document preparation
- Experience with litigation and negotiation processes is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
