Balcones Recycling is Hiring a Sales Coordinator Near Terre Haute, IN

Midwest Fiber dba Balcones Recycling Midwest is a fast growing, regional leader in paper, plastic, single stream recycling and Confidential Onsite Paper Shredding (COPS). Due to a growth-related transfer, we are looking for a full-time Sales Coordinator to perform various administrative duties in support of our operations.

We are currently looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our facility in Terre Haute, IN.

Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator supports the Procurement and Commodity sales department. Once a truckload of recycled material has been procured from a supplier and sold to an end-user, the Sales Coordinators take over the customer service process, organize the logistics of picking up and delivering the load, entering the load into the record-keeping software, and providing all involved parties with the correct information and paperwork.

Major Job Responsibilities

  • Providing front-line customer service to accounts
  • Processing service requests for pick-ups and deliveries
  • Scheduling with pick-up and delivery sites
  • Data entry in primary logistics software
  • Requesting quotes from and hiring third-party freight haulers
  • Organizing open orders, delivery appointments, requests, etc. to ensure all customers are serviced efficiently and profitably
  • Solving problems as they arise, often in urgent situations
  • Working various short- and long-term research and improvement projects as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 1 year of administrative trucking experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must be organized and detailed-oriented
  • Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels
  • Be very dependable, with excellent attendance
  • Have a stable job history
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
