Shipping and Receiving/Dispacher

Location: Castroville, CA

Pay rate: $18

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring a great customer experience and the day-to-day flow of inbound and outbound trucks. This is a highly interactive position with others and requires exceptional customer
service and communication skills.

Primary goals and responsibilities include:

• Check in and out all truck drivers
• Schedule appointments for shipping and receiving of product - making sure to get all information needed to load or unload, and re-scheduling appointments if needed
• Maintaining updated schedule at all times
• Verify all counts on picking ticket, bill of lading and blind receiver
• Ensure all orders are out for picking each day
• Create, update, post and charge the appropriate storage and handling charges to each receiving manifest
• Post all delivery manifest
• Prepare and complete various paperwork, such as manifests, billing, etc
• Prepare and create various reports
• Printing lot labels for each order
• Creating copies of paperwork for various departments for inbound/outbound orders
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.75 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
