Balance Autism is currently searching for a Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team starting September 2023!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports the health, safety, and emotional well-being of children with special or individual developmental needs.
• Assists the Preschool Teacher with activities and learning exercises.
• Maintains excellent communication with parents and coworkers.
• Assists students with basic hygiene needs such as bathroom breaks and handwashing.
• Ensures the preschool classroom and equipment is safe, clean and well maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Driver's license and auto insurance
• Pass pre-employment motor vehicle report and criminal background checks
• Previous experience working with children highly preferred.
