Does the moment when a baked good comes out of the oven excite you? Would you like joining a team in a great environment?
This person will work with Bakey’s General Manager and others from Bakey’s team to ensure the missions of Bakey are being met at all times.
This person works with the bakery team to proof and score breads and to operate the ovens to help ensure all our baked goods are always coming fresh out of the oven.
Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to, setting up for the next day’s bake-off and assisting the FOH team to complete daily tasks.
This is a full-time position and the ideal candidate should be punctual, energetic, positive, organized, clean, able to multitask and passionate about baked goods.
Working under pressure and being comfortable and positive in a fast-paced business is another key for success. Flexible schedule required with early mornings, weekends and holidays.
Salary : $17 an hour, plus shared tips (full-time, depending on experience)
Qualifications : 1 year baking or pastry experience (combination of education, training or work experience); a culinary or apprenticeship program is preferred.
