We are looking for a Registered Nurse to help with BBHH's vision of providing excellent care and striving to be the best hospital we can be through our Learning Development Program.

The Learning Development Manager will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of quality internal training and educational programs to all staff through in-service, group training, individual training, and point-of-care training. This role also assists with the development of new clinical programming for inpatient and outpatient services to better service clientele.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care through interventions as needed and point-of-care training to all new Nursing staff including RN's, Mental Health Workers, LVN's and Licensed Psych Technicians.

You will develop and implement trainings for orientation programs using evidence-based practices in Nursing, Management, Leadership, and Business Operations.

The position will collaborate with clinical leadership in nursing to ensure proper training of all nursing staff and clinical programming. Further, the position will work to develop and utilize tools to measure clinical and non-clinical success and outcomes.

The Learning Development Manager must become certified as a Handle-With-Care Instructor as soon as possible following hire and help to facilitate escalation prevention, de-escalation techniques, and assist in Hand-With-Care Certificaton of our staff..

The Learning Development Manager is responsible for providing formal and informal education programs for the staff of BBHH (inpatient and outpatient) with planning assistance from the HR Team and Management Team of the respective departments. The ideal candidate possesses a broad scope of knowledge and skills to facilitate improved patient outcomes and improved staff performance in the hospital. The L D Manager possesses the skills and knowledge to competently provide the appropriate services to patients and staff. In conjuction with the infection control consultant, provides surveillance activities and on-site support for Infection Control.
