Baker Installations is currently searching for a Construction Laborer to join our Cable Construction Team in our New Castle, PA Service Area.

Major Responsibilities:

• Work as part of our Cable/Fiber construction team to complete assigned work
• Safely use hand and power tools
• Flagging/Traffic Control duties
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment
• Perform duties courteously and professionally
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
• Demonstrate dependability regarding attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Schedule / Hours: Workdays are typically Monday - Friday, but may include Saturday on occasion. Hours per week may vary between 40-50 hours.

Physical Demands:

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to lift 80 lbs
• Prolonged standing
• Bend, lift, kneel, stretch, crawl, stoop

Technician candidates must:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Have at least a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Maximum body weight 275 pounds to comply with safety limitations of equipment
• Must pass Flagging Certification course (Employer paid)
• Must be eligible to obtain a DOT Medical Certificate
