This critical leadership role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities focused on continuous improvement, including team management, process improvement, thought leadership, sales support, software implementation, industry guidance, and providing formal input to both the Product Management team and the Sales Team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Team Management: As the Director of Advisory Services, you will oversee and manage the Advisory Services team. This includes process improvement, conducting performance reviews, providing training and mentorship, setting goals, assigning work, and ensuring the team's overall success. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

Software Implementations and Billable Tasks: You will actively participate in software implementations, leveraging your industry expertise to provide valuable insights, best practice recommendations, strategic and tactical guidance, and configuration assistance. Your contributions will ensure successful implementations that meet client requirements and drive customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will track and achieve billable to ensure the financial success of the Advisory Services drive. (Should this be drive?)

Continuous Improvement and Innovation: You will work with your team to challenge the status quo, find process gaps and continuously improve our processes, products and services. You will drive innovation by looking for new and creative solutions to be more productive and enhance product and service offerings.

Sales Assistance: The Director of Advisory Services plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by sharing industry and product knowledge with current and potential clients. Your deep understanding of the financial industry and expertise in advisory services will enable you to provide valuable insights, address client inquiries, and contribute to the sales process.

Thought Leadership: As a thought leader, you will actively contribute to the advancement of industry knowledge and best practices. This includes creating and delivering internal trainings on banking functions, keeping the team up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements. Your thought leadership will position Baker Hill as a trusted advisor in the financial technology sector.

Formal Input to Product Management: Utilizing your real-world client usage insights, you will provide formal input to the Product Management team. By sharing your observations and feedback, you will help shape the future development of our Next Gen products, ensuring they align with client needs and deliver exceptional value.

Client Success and Satisfaction: Your primary focus will be to drive client success by aligning their processes with the capabilities of Next Gen. You will work closely with clients, understand their specific needs and goals, and provide strategic recommendations and guidance to optimize their use of Baker Hill solutions. You will monitor and achieve client satisfaction KPIs to ensure long-term client retention and loyalty.

Perform Other Duties as Assigned: As the Director of Advisory Services, you will be responsible for various other duties as assigned by the organization. This may include representing Advisory Services in management, product, and HR meetings or delegating this responsibility to a qualified team member.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of at least 10 years in a leadership role within the financial services or financial technology consulting industry.
• Extensive experience in advisory services, financial consulting, risk management, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience with driving innovation and continuous improvement with processes, products or services.
• Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the financial industry, including banking, lending, and credit risk management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of professionals.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated success in driving business growth, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market share.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
