Project Engineer Job Description

Baines Group, Inc. is a B Licensed General Contractor Construction company. We are looking to staff a Project Engineer. As a PE, you will be assisting the project manager and construction manager.

As Project Engineer your job description will include:

· Creating & tracking submittals, submittal logs, and requests for all projects

· Ability to manage project material, labor, change orders, submittals and spec clarification

· Coordinate subcontractor meetings and prepare weekly job meetings

· Interface with clients, high-level executives, project teams, and vendors

· Provide movement of documents

· Collaborate with colleagues on budgeting and invoicing.

· Perform safety inspections

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with owners, contractors and vendors

· Ensure RFI submittals are tracked and up to date.

· Log Inspection Reports

· Create contract agreement requests and purchase orders for vendors

· Process and track invoices and payment applications

· Create track and log change directives such as Preliminary Change Orders and Change Orders

As Project Engineer, we ask that candidates have the following skills:

· Interpersonal Written and Verbal Communication Skills

· Knowledge of Technological Office Software

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $30.00- $42.00 Per hour
