Baily International is Hiring a Sanitation Supervisor Near Waycross, GA
- Provide cleaning and sanitation process leadership and ensure effective cleaning and sanitation practices on a day to day basis on all shifts
- Lead and manage cleaning and sanitation teams and ensure employees are actively engaged nightly
- Develop staff through effective hiring and training programs
- Manage and mitigate food safety and quality risks
- Assess and deliver new cleaning and sanitation technology for improved efficiency
- Manage Master Sanitation Schedule
- Perform verification checks on detergents and sanitizers
- Responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of all the necessary chemicals, supplies and equipment to perform all sanitation tasks, as required
- Ensure that all production personnel are following cGMP’s and HACCP at all times
- Monitor employee job performance and assist in annual reviews
- Review and update production SOP’s and WI’s as and when required
- Issue coaching’s and/or corrective actions to employees as per the company polices with the assistance of the human resource department
- Audit the department to ensure safe working conditions are being met
- Record key performance data
- Report all pertinent information to the plant manager, quality manager and preform additional duties that may be assigned by management
- Understanding of allergen and microbiological control practices and GMP compliance
- Strong interpersonal skills to include team building and oral communication
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to work days/hours as needed
- Ability to read and understand procedures and policies and write in English
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50#
- Work as a team with in fast paced environment
- Detail-Oriented
- Multitasking
- Take on special projects as assigned by management
- Bilingual is preferred, but not required
