What You'll be Doing: Safely operating a garbage truck to collect solid waste along specified routes Loading and unloading roll-off containers at customer sites with precision and care Following assigned routes and servicing each customer as directed by the dispatcher Performing routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency Interacting courteously with customers while delivering top-notch service Performing other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Who We are Looking for: Hold a valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement Able to drive “manual” truck - no restrictions Proficient in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in English Basic knowledge of truck components to complete pre- and post-trip inspections Physically able to handle heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 50 pounds OK with exposure to various weather conditions and moderate noise levels Can adhere to basic safety precautions to mitigate physical risks Available to work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, averaging 50-55 hours per week with paid overtime Maintain a clean driving record for the past 3 years Minimum age of 21 years What Our Client Offers: Compensation: $25/hr (DOE) $2500 Sign-On Bonus Company Paid Medical Insurance Full Benefits Package including retirement plans.
