Bailey’s Staff Gemologist In-house AppraiserThe role of a Bailey’s onsite Jewelry Appraiser plays a key part in the success of the Bailey’s business. As the Jewelry Appraiser you ensure all patrons receive extraordinary service, offer them appraisal options and suggestions, and execute all responsibilities of your department with excellence. Company core values, service standards, processes, and procedures should be executed consistently according to Bailey's legendary standards. In this role you must be able to multi-task while always putting the patron first. Clear communication skills with patrons and the team are vital to your success. Your patrons are Bailey’s patrons and your co-workers.Specific Responsibilities:· Onsite Jewelry Appraisals· Jewelry appraisals on internal merchandise and outside customers jewelry

Work directly with patrons and team to deliver a great customer service experience
Use POS system to take in appraisal and jewelry repairs
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of jewelry industry
Embrace and utilize technology to enhance customer experience
Create a positive and rewarding patron experience, that is warm and exciting in all customer interactions
Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that the patron always takes priority
Fully support and align with all key business initiatives
Remain current and knowledgeable of industry trends, to determine opportunities to maximize sales within the market
Collect meaningful customer data for the purpose of building relationships and personalizing future client development opportunities

Job Requirements:· Extensive knowledge of diamonds, colored stones, all types of jewelry and the industry· Effective relationship building with customers and provide excellence customer service· Graduate gemologist. ·Gemologist appraisal certification preferred, 4 years fine jewelry experience and 2- 3 years appraisal experience.· Capable to purchase jewelry and loose gemstones for Antique and Estate collectionIf you want to work for a fun, professional company, please send resume to audrey.humphreys@baileybox.com
