Bailey-Harris Construction is Hiring a Project Accountant Near Auburn, AL
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Accountant’s primary responsibility is to support the project team regarding administrative duties, administering contracts, compliance, payments, reports, and any other tasks related to the project.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with all accounting-related functions for assigned projects
- Assist team in setting up/closing out the project and assigning appropriate responsibilities
- Administer the Commitment (Subcontracts, POs, PSAs, etc.) process in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Timely and accurately process all invoices and subcontractor pay applications
- Check/maintain current renewals (COIs, GCLs, W9s, etc.) in Procore & ComputerEase
- Prepare closeout log and assist in preparing O&M Manuals
- Assist in the financial closeout of project
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years prior experience working as an accountant or bookkeeper.
- Experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Proficient in data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor payments.
- Strong communication skills.
- Key competencies are communication, teamwork, initiative, and dependability.
