Who We're Looking For

Bailey & Galyen is looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney who will be responsible for handling jury trials including consumer and deceptive trade practice act cases, medical malpractice cases, and commercial litigation. This role would also focus on personal injury, motor vehicle accident cases, and premises liability cases. Schedule hours are primarily 8a-5p, Monday - Friday with occasional weekend and after-hours projects.

What You'll Be Doing

Play a critical part by helping clients recover and handling the legal aspects of their claim associated with an assault, an auto accident, a slip and fall, or a sports injury.

What You Bring

The full time Personal Injury Litigation Attorney will have 2-4 years of Litigation experience preferably personal injury litigation, with 2nd chair trial experience, deposition experience in a heavy motion practice with experience assisting clients.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years personal injury trial law experience
  • Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in the state in which you intend to practice.
  • Experience or expertise in a specific branch of law may be preferred.
  • Commitment to abiding by local, state, and federal laws and behaving ethically.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies.
  • Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, public speaking skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, research, and communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
  • Adaptability and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
