Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of our deli department, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot foods
- Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and kitchen area
- Operate deli equipment including slicers, ovens, and fryers
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of products
- Handle cash transactions and operate a POS system
- Support other departments as needed, including bussing tables and restocking supplies

Requirements:

- Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
- Culinary background or interest is a plus

Pay: $35,236.61 - $42,435.48 per year
