Job Summary:

Baerlocher USA headquartered in Cincinnati, OH is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented member of the commercial team as part of the customer service group. This position is responsible for day-to-day management of orders, inquiries, and relationships with current and prospective customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and faxes
• Receive and enter customer orders
• Communicate with production, lab, warehouse, and other departments to ensure orders are shipped on time
• Schedule carriers to pick up customer orders
• Create shipping paperwork for the warehouse and carriers
• Maintain current account information
• Invoice each order and send the invoice to the customer
• Work in conjunction with Account Managers to help sell additional products and services to customers

• Serves as a key contact for customers regarding orders and responds to customer inquiries in a timely manner

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to foster good working relationships with customers, account managers, and other departments within the organization
• Exhibits appropriate tone in both written and oral communication with internal and external customers
• Builds partnerships with account managers, customer contacts, and other departments to meet customer needs and expectations
• Collaborates with senior customer experience specialist and customer experience manager to build and deliver solutions that meet customer needs and expectations
• Builds strong internal network across various functional groups

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with the Microsoft suite of applications
• A strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and work under pressure

Education/Relevant Industry Experience

Minimum:

• High School Diploma and 2-years relevant professional experience, or Associate degree

• Proficient with the Microsoft suite of applications

Strongly Desired:

• Working knowledge of SAP
• Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system

Physical Requirements:
