Fabricator - Installer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, good judgement, ability to read and understand blueprints, and communicates well. This position is for ornamental and structural fabrication and installation. As a Fabricator and installer, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and repairing various metal structures and components using ferrous and non ferrous metals. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. It is important to note we are not looking for someone who can 'weld'. You must have fabrication skills to be qualified for this role. Installation skills are also a requirement.

Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Use various tools and equipment to cut, shape, and fabricate metal materials
- Operate plasma cutting machines, pipe bender, layout table and other fabrication machinery
- Fabricate using different weld processes such as MIG, TIG, STICK or other welding techniques. Fabrication includes working on Carbon, Stainless Steel, Bronze, Brass, Aluminum, and other special materials.
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications and codes standards
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute fabrication projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and guidelines at all times

Skills:
- Proficient in basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Experience with plasma cutting techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of welding techniques such as MIG or TIG welding
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Experience working with ornamental metals
- Forklift operation skills for material handling purposes
- Familiarity with pipe bending is a plus, but not required. - Experience with installation (posts, guardrails, handrails, decorative screens, etc.)
