Baer is looking for SAP GTS Consultant for a 6 month project located in Houston, TX.
Title: SAP GTS Consultant
Location: Remote with 50% Travel to Houston, TX
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 Only (C2C Not Permitted)
Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in SAP GTS implementations, ensuring successful configuration and customization to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional specifications and solutions within SAP GTS.
• Design and architect SAP GTS solutions, ensuring they align with overall business strategies and integrate seamlessly with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve trade compliance and logistics processes using SAP GTS functionalities. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Provide comprehensive training to end-users and support teams. Develop training materials and conduct workshops to ensure effective system usage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP GTS modules. Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure system stability and performance.
• Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, customizations, and processes. Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Ensure SAP GTS processes comply with international trade regulations and company policies. Support compliance audits and provide necessary documentation.

Required Experience

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience with SAP GTS, with a minimum of four full-cycle SAP GTS implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management, and Electronic Compliance Reporting.
• Strong understanding of SAP GTS integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP TM) and third-party systems.
• Proficiency in developing training materials and conducting user training sessions. Ability to create and maintain detailed project documentation.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance requirements, including customs and export control laws.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP GTS certification is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
