Flooring Sales Specialist

Baer's Furniture, Florida’s premier furniture and mattress retailer, is searching for Flooring Sales Specialist. Our Flooring Sales Specialist help set Baer's Furniture apart from other furniture retailers by creating a stellar shopping experience for our customers. Flooring Sales Specialist use their flooring experience and knowledge to provide comprehensive start to finish service to customers, from measuring to installation . The perfect candidate is a creative professional that will help our guests incorporate fashionable design elements, turning their house into the home of their dreams. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the desire to assist guest in making superlative flooring choices for their home and enjoy working in a high-end environment.

Income : hourly plus commission - average pay is 45K - 75K

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and welcome guest, create a rapport to discover their home flooring wishes;
• Effectively communicate with guest, displaying strong product knowledge;
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and listening skills;
• Create sales through confident, well-informed, interactions with guest;
• Travel to customers homes to ensure accurate measurements for flooring and carpeting.

Qualifications:

• Highly motivated sales professional with exemplary interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to build a strong rapport with customers;
• Team player, with a competitive, goal-oriented spirit;
• Flexibility to work a 5-day retail schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays;
• Computer literate, able grasp new programs with training;
• 1 year experience in selling area rugs, carpeting, wood or tile flooring;
• Clean driver's license required..
