In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you’ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.
Starting in June 2024, BAE Systems is looking for a CDM Intern to join our team and support the C4ISR business area.
The successful candidate will be given direction and will assist with assigned programs for executing all CDM activities. The intern candidate will support the three functions of Data Management, Software Configuration Management, and Hardware Configuration Management. May perform computer system task assignments with engineering including performing identification, change management, status accounting, and audit and verification. Must be able to multi task and support multiple initiatives. Some tasks will include:
- Learn the PLM tool and be able to process documents and drawings.
- Support the creation and distribution of 30-60-90 day Data notices.
- Work independently supporting multiple programs
- Support the creation and distribution of SCM, DM, and HCM minutes.
- Perform Software and Hardware Baseline control and process applicable change records.
- Perform software builds in Windows and Linux environments.
- Create weekly and monthly metric reports.
- Perform regular internal audits on the three functions you will be supporting.
- Commercial Off the Shelf and Media inventory
- Archiving records
- Create new databases based upon direction of CDM Lead.
- Audit Shared Areas and verify permission sets.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $39915 - $53893
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
