The Facilities team is seeking a Facility Planning and Engineering Intern with AutoCAD and project management background, who will be supporting the Combat Mission Systems Project Management services Program. This position will be located on-site at the York, PA facility. Relocation will not be offered, and housing is not provided.
As a Facility Planning and Engineering Intern, you will:

• Work with Planning team to support Facilities Capital plan projects and the scheduled execution.
• Work with Planning team to support Furniture, Equipment, and Employee move management.
• Work in collectively with lead draftsman in AutoCAD to develop furnishing base plans for all buildings onsite.
• With the guidance of the planning teamwork in Tririga weekly to make required updates.
• Support various facility teams by completing project tasks.
• Work within and across teams to accomplish goals at a safe and efficient manner.
• Lead and/or support Capital or expense projects. Low to mid-level complexity.
• Help drive project management methodologies and incorporate templates and guidelines.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with Junior or Senior standing or possess an associate degree in engineering, Facility Management, Interior or Architectural Design or related fields at an accredited university
• Ability to work for at least 10 weeks during the summer
• Strong work ethic
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in PowerPoint and Excel.
• AUTOCAD

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience in Revit
• Experience in Microsoft Project
• Experience with Tririga IBM integrated workplace management system a plus
• Experience with equipment and furniture move management and procurement
• Facility management a plus
• Architecture/Interior Design preferred

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $40600 - $54800
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
