Job Description
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
In Controls & Avionics Solutions, you will have the opportunity to help define and develop the next generation of avionics – whether it is fly-by-wire flight controls, full authority digital engine controls, or power management.
The Manufacturing Engineer II position requires a candidate that is able to directly impact a value stream by using knowledge/ experience gained to monitor and improve processes using statistical process control and working to influence and lead production workers, be responsible for various sub-assemblies and help to manage external suppliers.
This indvidual will work directly with operations associates to identify trends in defects, cost drivers, and quality improvements to be made.
This person will be responsible for a number of program work instructions for accuracy and maintenace of drawing changes.
This person will be expected to identify changes needed to the manufacturing area to support product processes.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to lead project improvements

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Greenbelt training preferred
