Job Summary

As a Server at Badlands, You will be taking orders, answering questions about our food & drink options and providing exceptional guest service with a pleasant demeanor.

Your ultimate goal is to make every guest feel at home and wow them with an excellent dining experience unique to Badlands.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all restaurant menu items meet operational standards
• Greeting all guests in a polite and friendly manner with a smile
• Take and serve orders
• Issue bills and accept payment
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Collaborate with other servers and kitchen staff
• Handle complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Carrying and balancing a tray weighing up to 25 pounds
• Serving our guests in a timely manner
• Clearing plates & dishware from tables as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
• Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at Badlands
• Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Friendly attitude & excellent people skills
• Responsible & trustworthy
