About the Role

This position serves as the Fleet Technical Services Manager. Duties include design, specification development, and acquisition of all replacement and additional equipment; coordination and disposal of surplus equipment; maintenance and technical operations of Badger sites.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develops and executes a 1year business plan ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager's business plan, including pricing strategy for assigned accounts.
• Oversees program for Badger vehicles and equipment. Works with (stakeholders or a specific team/role?) to develop solutions for fleet and coordinates vehicle creation/replacement. Develops specifications to meet business needs, works with stakeholders to acquire units, and coordinates the receipt and in-service processing of all new units.
• Works closely with stakeholders to develop specifications and/or contracts for vehicles and equipment. Coordinates with stakeholders to acquire units and coordinates the receipt and in-service processing of all new units.
• Manages the disposal process for surplus equipment. Works closely with stakeholders on disposal of all Badger surplus equipment. Coordinates the dissolution process of surplus assets with customers, assigned staff, and suppliers. Coordinates the removal and final disposition of surplus assets.

Qualifications

What You'll Need for Success

• Bachelor's degree with preference in Engineering, or Engineering Technology or a related field or combination of education and experience. Professional Engineering license is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working in Fleet Technical Services
• 2 years' experience of guiding a team, preferred.
• Working knowledge of project concepts and practices.
• Working knowledge of corporate financial reporting systems as applicable in a project environment.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Badger's reasonable estimate of the hiring compensation range for this role.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $120,000.00 - $155,000.00

Compensation may vary and will be a result from the geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Candidates will be required to successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include background check, MVR history and a drug test.
