Job Description: badboyboards is seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy across various platforms to increase brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive sales. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, design, and sustainability, with a keen eye for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of social media trends and analytics.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to align with badboyboards' brand objectives and target audience.
  2. Create engaging and visually appealing content (including photos, videos, graphics, and captions) for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  3. Manage all social media channels, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring mentions and tags.
  4. Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media campaigns with overall marketing initiatives, including product launches, promotions, and events.
  5. Cultivate and maintain relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other strategic partners to expand our reach and drive engagement.
  6. Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  7. Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as engagement rate, reach, impressions, and conversion, to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts and inform future strategies.
  8. Stay up-to-date with best practices, algorithms, and platform updates to optimize content performance and stay ahead of the curve.
  9. Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, creative development, and performance tracking.
  10. Stay true to badboyboards' brand voice, values, and aesthetics in all social media communications.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the food, lifestyle, or home goods industry.
  3. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools, including but not limited to Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Insights, and Google Analytics.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for crafting compelling and authentic content.
  5. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual aesthetics.
  6. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
  8. Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
  9. Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  10. Knowledge of SEO principles and email marketing best practices is a plus.
