Ideally we are looking for someone to work Wednesday: 4pm to 815pm, Thursday 4pm to 815pm , Saturday 10am to 4pm , Sunday 10am to 4pm. Great schedule for someone in school. We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts, putting together togo orders, running food and drink, bussing tables, cleaning the customer area and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of a point of sale system. You should be able to agree to a set schedule based on your availability and our needs. Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction. Must have availability Thursda afternoons

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Accurately take customer orders and communicate with the kitchen staff
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
• Redeem stamps and coupons
• Upsell products and introduce new ones
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Maintain clean and tidy dining room area
• Assist customers with the ordering process with your knowledge of the menu

Skills

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
• Good math skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• High school degree

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
