Back To Health Chiropractic is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist/Chiropractic Asstant Near Draper, UT

Description:

We are looking to hire a front desk team member with excellent organizational and administrative skills. You are expected to be a compassionate individual with superb time management and records keeping skills.
To ensure success, you should be confident and professional with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration of the healthcare facility. Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively handle patients.
This is a full time, Tuesday through Friday position.


Job Description:

Answering phone calls
Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
Scheduling patient appointments
Coordinate practitioners schedule and appointments
Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
Notifying providers of patient arrival
Handling patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims
Maintaining office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating supply needs, placing supply orders, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment for service and repairs
Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, medical and financial information
Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information
Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Perform all duties within HIPPA regulations
Light cleaning

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
University/college degree is an asset
1 years of experience customer service or in a relevant role
Familiarity with phone systems
Previous experience with Microsoft Office software
Familiar with medical terminology, HIPPA regulations, ICD and CPT coding preferred
