Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Writer/Parts Counterperson to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. If you have a passion for motorcycles, motorcycle repair and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide them with a positive service experience

- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them

- Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and services

- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs

- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles

- Assist customers with parts sales and assist the Service Manager with parts department related tasks

- Handle cash/credit transactions and maintain accurate records

- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the service department's workflow

- Provide exceptional customer service at all times

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred

- General mechanical and/or motorcycle mechanical knowledge preferred

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
