Bachmans was founded in 1885 and remains a family-owned business, with fifth-generation Bachman family members leading the company today. Bachmans operates six full-service Floral, Gift & Garden Centers throughout the Twin Cities, a shop in the Galleria, a Hardscapes Center in Farmington, and 28 floral departments within Lunds & Byerlys grocery stores. Additionally, Bachmans operates indoor and outdoor landscaping divisions, a weddings and special events department, a wholesale nursery division, seven acres of greenhouses, and a 670-acre growing range in Lakeville, Minn., which produces many of the plants, flowers, and landscaping products sold by Bachmans today.

The Order Fulfillment/Customer Service position is supporting the Sales team at the Nursery Wholesale location. The position consists of working primarily outside providing excellent customer service, pulling orders, organizing plants for pick up and helping with quality assurance.

**Duties:**

* Assist customers with placing orders.

* Select plant materials for customer orders.

* Load product in trucks for customers.

* Communicate product shortage issues.

* Inspect products for quality issues prior to shipping.

* Assist in plant maintenance activities as needed.

**Qualifications**:

* Good communication and customer service skills required.

* Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs on a regular basis.

* Must be 18 years of age to operate equipment.

* Must dress as needed for various types of weather (boots, raingear, gloves, etc.)

* Ability in all weather conditions.

* Knowledge of landscape plant materials is preferred.

**Schedule**:

* M-F 7:30-5:00 Sat 8:00-12:00 OT as needed

* Season April - Mid November
