Registered Nurse - Infusion

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Infusion Nurse. As an Infusion Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients receiving intravenous medications and therapies. Duties:
- Administer intravenous medications and therapies to patients
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their response to treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on medication administration, side effects, and self-care techniques
- Perform procedures such as central line dressing changes, port access, and blood draws
- Provide pain management interventions as needed
- Assist with ostomy care and management
- Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results
- Provide health coaching and support to patients for self-management of chronic conditions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (e.g., Athena)
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Demonstrate proficiency in airway management techniques

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [state]
- Excellent IV skills as an experienced Registered Nurse, preferably in an infusion or specialty setting
- Experience in wound care basics.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (e.g., Athena)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
