Babel Street is Hiring a Technical Program Manager Near Chagrin Falls, OH

As a Technical Program Manager at Babel Street, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful execution of our technology projects and programs. You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team, defining project objectives, and ensuring that all technical initiatives are delivered on time and meet our high-quality standards. This position requires a strong leadership background, excellent management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. This role will be responsible for establishing new reporting patterns as well as creating and enforcing best practices for ticket and task management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate technical projects and programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, data collection, and data warehouse teams.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and roadmaps in conjunction with Technical Team Leads.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, and other Program Managers across the organization.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to senior management and other stakeholders, including running daily standups, and sprint reviews.
  • Onboard new team members.

    Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar project leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and project management methodologies, as well as best practices for software product delivery.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align technical projects with broader business goals.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Eligible for a US Government Security Clearance.
    Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with AWS environments.
  • Experience with the GCP environment.
  • Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CSM (Certified Scrum Master).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello).
