• Under close supervision, conducts standardized, routine inspections across various stages (first piece, incoming, in-process, final) for standard parts and products.
• With close oversight, visually inspects and verifies parts using direct reading and adjustable gauges, following blueprints or processes meticulously.
• Generates necessary quality control documents.
• Utilizes basic measuring equipment like scales, verniers, height sticks, micrometers, and plug gauges.
• Maintains inspection reports accurately.
• May conduct production testing when required.
• Upholds cleanliness, safety, and organization in the work area and with equipment.
• Executes other assigned duties as directed.
• Communicates quality issues with Inspection and Production Supervisor, especially concerning vendor-supplied products.
