POSITION SUMMARY

The Jr Marketing Specialist is responsible for working with customer’s digital advertisements in our online platforms, maintaining accurate records and updating them as necessary, ensuring legal and industry compliance with advertising campaigns, and scheduling email campaigns as determined by management.

The Jr Marketing Specialist will collaborate with multiple departments including Production, List Management, Sales and IT to ensure that advertiser budgets are optimized.

The ability to work well in a team and to excel on individual projects is a must.

The ideal fit for this position will be someone with great analytical skills that is also extremely detail oriented. The best candidate for this position will have the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting, superior communication skills, and a sincere interest in growing with an amazing company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow Company procedures to build email marketing campaigns for Advertisers
• Track, maintain, and update databases for marketing campaigns with high attention to detail
• Utilize multiple platforms to create, maintain, and update campaigns
• Ensure Company compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Assist with distribution of email marketing campaigns
• Work with IT and Operations teams to beta test new platforms, systems, and processes
• Support Company goals by accepting ownership for achieving objectives
• Compile daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in business, communications, marketing or other related field or a combination of experience and education
• Extremely detail oriented and organized
• Able to work well in a fast-paced setting, while under strict deadlines
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and the internet
• Comfortable with face-to-face, phone, and email communication
• Excellent time management skills
• Creative problem solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• HTML experience is a huge plus
• Foundational knowledge of online marketing
