Technology Banking practice has been at the center of the Technology ecosystem for over 20 years. Program Overview: The Commercial Banking Associate Program is designed to support the development of the next generation of Commercial Relationship Managers. During the two-year program, Associates will be paired with a select group of Senior Relationship Managers (RMs) in Client Coverage business line and work in an apprentice model to support the portfolios of Senior RM’s. Associates will work on all facets of relationship management including credit underwriting of existing clients, new client acquisition, sales support, engaging with product partners, and effective sales monitoring/tracking. Upon completion of the program, Associates may have the opportunity to progress into RM role. We are recruiting for the following locations and managers: San Francisco, CA - Kim Crosslin Los Angeles, CA - Dave Stolpe Boston, MA - Tom Harper In this role, you will: Interpret and analyze borrower financial information. Underwrite and close commercial loans. Research, examine and interpret customer portfolio, competitors, and related industry to prepare comprehensive credit reports. Review and interpret credit policies and procedures. Risk rate borrowers and loans/products. Perform financial modeling, projections, and credit research for loan structuring. Develop and maintain client relationships. Review basic or tactical issues, policies or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables. Communicate with product partners and prepare materials for prospective and client presentations. Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development. Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Required Qualifications, US: 6 months of Commercial Relationship Management or Credit Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Possesses strong credit acumen Experience with underwriting moderately complex credit and debt structure Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Risk Management Intermediate knowledge and understanding of core banking products: deposits, commercial credit, and treasury Represents Wells Fargo with confidence, positive energy, and clear communication in the marketplace Commercial account relationship management experience Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal partners Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Effective time management and organization skills Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment High level of initiative and accountability Proactive, persistent, organized, and results oriented Sound problem solving and decision-making skills Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Job Expectations: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Pay Range $80,400.00 - $155,900.00 Benefits Wells Fargo provides all eligible full- and part-time employees with a comprehensive set of benefits designed to protect their physical and financial health and to help them make the most of their financial future.
