About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Control Officer to join our Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Control team, supporting the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Capital Markets businesses and Portfolio Management group. In this role you will: Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks within the CRE Capital Markets businesses and the Portfolio Management group. Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area. Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies. Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area. Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls. Collaborate with the Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets and Portfolio Management groups to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies. Lead Control Management projects or virtual teams. Required Qualifications: 5 years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Desired Qualifications: Commercial Real Estate origination experience. Capital Markets experience. Commercial Real Estate Asset experience. Portfolio Management experience. Issues Management experience. Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities. Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain strong working relationships. Ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels. Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability. A BS/BA degree or higher Posting Locations: 500 W 33rd St, New York, NY 10001 Pay Range: New York, New York: $133,300 - $220,000 Annually Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved job posting locations three (3) days in office & two (2) days remote. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
