Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support professional to join our team. As an IT Support, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Assist with setting up new user accounts and permissions
- Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical problems via phone, email, or in person
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Document and track all support requests using ticketing systems such as Jira
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups
- Conduct software troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of audiovisual equipment for meetings and presentations
Experience:
- Proven experience in IT support or a related field
- SQL knowledge and experience a must.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, Mac OS)
- Familiarity with office productivity software (Microsoft Office)
- Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems
- Knowledge of Ecommerce sites currently running. Troubleshooting as well as upgrading sites are a plus!
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and security is a plus
