Bumo Little Sprouts is seeking applicants for a part-time infant and toddler daycare teacher position, either as a temporary Summer position or as a consistent part-time teacher. If you want a consistent half-day schedule in either the AM or PM, Bumo is offering consistent hours in a small group setting of up to 6 children. Job Type: Part-Time, 20-25 hrs/week

Availability we are seeking from applicant: M-F, AM shift (815pm-130pm) or PM shift (1230pm-545pm). Prefer applicants who are available for both, or applicants who can stick to a consistent AM or PM shift. No weekend hours at Bumo Little Sprouts.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the well-being and safety of children in the daycare.
• Maintain a positive and nurturing environment for children.
• Handle a large group of kids with patience and enthusiasm.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement curriculum and engaging activities.
• Assist in serving meals, conducting diaper changes and performing potty checks, help parents check in-and-out of the facility, and be a leader in the environment when help is needed.

Requirements:

• Available to work 4-5 shifts a week, either AM shift (815-130) or PM shift (130pm-545pm).
• Consistent attendance and reliability are crucial.
• Ability to manage and care for a diverse group of children.
• Willingness to uphold curriculum and activities as well as execute in the classroom.
• Passion for childcare or willingness to learn.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain with reimbursement).
• Fingerprint clearance and mandated reporter training (or willingness to obtain with reimbursement).
