BJG is a leading supplier of interconnect and electromechanincal products to the world’s leading mil-aero OEMs, serving various markets including: defense, commercial air, test & measurement, radar, and space. As a value-added distributor and assembler, the company maintains niche capabilities in designing cables, harnesses, box assemblies, and build to print assemblies. Job Summary:

Account managers serve as the link between BJG and the specific accounts (customers) they’ve been assigned to handle. They listen carefully to a client’s needs and figure out ways to achieve these objectives. The Account manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. Manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationship with clients.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
  2. Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings
  3. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  4. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  5. Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  6. Forecast and track key account metrics
  7. Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  8. Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
  9. Monitor and analyze customer's usage of our product
  10. Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships

Key Activities

  •  Quoting and Selling the entire product line to customers 
  •  Loading of new part numbers into the system
  •  RMA and Order Entry
  •  Monitor various reports including but not limited to sales flash, open orders, hold report, customer forecast report and overall portal management 
  •  Act as the lead on customer calls and meetings along with the BDM
  •  Responsible for monitoring and improving the customer score card

Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in sales, communications, or related experience
  •  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  •  Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  •  Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  •  Excellent active listening skills.
  •  Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
