Material Handler 1Job Overview:Experienced warehouse associates are responsible for storing, verifying, and unloading merchandise including but not limited to selecting packaging, staging and labelling. Essential Responsibilities:Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxesStock items in assigned locations within the warehouse and take part in the inventory count process Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer’s ordersUnpack boxes following standard procedures Additional Responsibilities:Additional tasks as assigned by management Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to Lift 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistanceExtended periods of standing/walking (10 hours/day)Attention to detail and ability to countMust be able to locate and identify specific itemsMust be able to use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer systemMust be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures Required Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday 9am-3pm **Eligibility contingent upon background screening
