JOB PURPOSE:

The Portfolio Analytics team is responsible for calculating and reporting accurate performance. The Trust Officer will ensure that reports are sent out accurately and in a timely manner to both internal and external clients.

Portfolio Reporting Analyst, Duties & Responsibilities: Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports for team’s stake holders (senior management, portfolio managers, marketing, and relationship managers), ensuring accuracy of results.
  • Troubleshoot and correct inaccurate data in a timely manner
  • Ensure deliverables are met, timely and accurately, while following procedures and policies
  • Ownership of data quality and availability; maintaining and updating databases. Experience using technologies including FIS Global Plus, Advent Axys, FirstRate, FactSet PA, FactSet SPAR, Investedge, and Bloomberg AIM is a plus.
  • Work independently on projects but also provide support to and back up Portfolio Analytics team members as needed
Generally, participate in various analytical projects required in the portfolio analytics group:
  • Provide support to and back up team-members as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries about performance methodology and reporting.
  • Assist in GIPS compliance and required documentation.
Portfolio Reporting Analyst, Selection Criteria:
  • Knowledge of fixed income and equity markets
  • Ideally, the officer will have a solid understanding of the investment management industry.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, prioritizing tasks as needed
  • Must be detail oriented and capable of completing the workload in an accurate and timely manner
  • Candidates must be able to work well under pressure and multitask in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working in SQL is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in investments and reporting
  • 1-2 years’ experience in investment accounting or operations preferred
