Our growing company is looking for a Production Planner to help support our Production Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Oversee all work order releases with attention to material requirements planning.

· Partner with production and appropriate departments to establish weekly/monthly/quarterly production targets.

· Identify and implement solutions to foreseeable capacity holdups.

· Monitor production progress and present data and issues to all levels of the company.

· Effectively communicate to customers on lead times, delays, and prioritization.

· Communicate to upper management customer needs and feedback.

· Work with appropriate personnel on the status of material and any production planning issues.

· Ensure schedules are realistic and achievable by utilizing all resources available and adjust accordingly when needed.

Qualifications:

· Good oral and written communication skills.

· Ability to work well with others.

· Able to multi-task and manage time in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to solve problems and positively manage ever-changing situations.

· Common knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, and MRP.

· Experience with Microsoft Office/Excel.
