Job Description: In-Home ABA Therapist

***** Open shifts are as follows******

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 3:30pm-6:30pm

B.E.T.H. Services is looking to expand and add additional members to her ever-growing team! No previous ABA experience needed as BETH provides all training necessary to be successful with each and every client.

Positions available include ABA direct-line technicians or an (RBT) for multiple Chicagoland Area locations, which will include both in-home and clinical environments, and Transition Consultants with an opportunity to grow into a Coordinator position.

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, and reliable individuals to join our team. Our applicants should be specifically looking to make a difference in client’s lives using applied behavior analytic principles, while expanding their skill set and knowledge base, in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. B.E.T.H. Services, Ltd is dedicated to providing the utmost quality of care to children and their families. B.E.T.H. Services offers support in the areas targeting: language acquisition, skill development, behavior change/reduction, social interactions, parent and team collaboration, and coordination of care across team members.

B.E.T.H. Services, Ltd supports and trains staff to first ensure confident, understandable, and translatable programs for individuals of her team to not only run during sessions but articulate the reasons of why programs are being run, and what the specific benefits are to the clients in which we serve.

Having longevity and sustainability is important to us and we put in a great deal of effort in ensuring that we give you the necessary tools to independently deliver effective ABA services while working with clients. We support staff to use these tools to ensure that you are accountable to yourself and your potential client during programming.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide 1:1 therapy in client’s home
  • Implementing behavior intervention programming
  • Attending training sessions with BCBA to continue knowledge of ABA principles and practices
  • Traveling to and from client’s home via personal car throughout the Chicagoland suburbs
  • Behavior Reduction implementation with the client’s family
  • Articulating reasons for program implementation to the child’s family and other team members within the scope of the RBT role as outlined by the BACB
  • Detailing clinic notes directly referencing the sessions where behavior analytic procedures worked and did not work for specific instances of behaviors
  • Explanations in written and vocal forms to team members articulating the reasons for increasing and decreasing behaviors during sessions
  • Reliably maintaining professional decorum with members of the team and the client’s family.
  • Effectively analyzing contingencies within the environment that will allow for maintenance and generalization of skills and replacement behaviors

Required from all candidates:

  • Criminal background check
  • Fingerprinting
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous ABA therapy experience
  • Special education teachers (LBS1)
  • Licensed Paraprofessional
  • Other training specifically involving individuals with high-rates of aggressive behaviors
  • Other training specifically involving planning and team development with organizations or families

*****Schedule is Tuesday/Thursday 12:30p-4:30pm (Optional Saturday)
