The Position

• We are seeking an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) for an Extended Care Unit to ensure excellent care standards and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• The role will report directly to the facility's Administrator, collaborating closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
• The Interim DON will be responsible for monitoring resident conditions, ensuring timely admissions inquiries, assisting with daily resident care, and managing overall unit operations.
• Ideal candidates will be resilient, capable of multitasking, and adept at managing high-pressure environments in healthcare settings.
• Must be available to start within two to three weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Must hold an active RN license.
• Prior experience in a leadership role within a nursing or extended care facility is required.
