Overview:

MUST HAVE 3 YEARS EXPEREINCE WORKING AT A SHIPPYARD

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in accordance with codes and standards. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:
- Fabricate, install, and repair pipes and pipe systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications
- Weld or solder pipes and fittings together
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges
- Inspect and maintain pipe systems to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skills:
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for pipefitting tasks
- Knowledge of codes and standards related to pipefitting work
- Ability to fabricate, assemble, and install pipes according to specifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with pipe systems
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Capable of welding or soldering pipes and fittings together
- Ability to plumb, align, level, and anchor pipes correctly
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and fix issues in pipe systems
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work accurately and efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
