What do we do?

Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation. Systems can be tailored to meet a variety of requirements for bandwidth, dynamic range, number of channels, and computational resources. Supported platforms range from resource-constrained small UAVs and wearable devices to manned aircraft and submarines. What will you do?

Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking a Software Engineer. This position will be located on-site at our Melbourne, Florida, facility with occasional overnight travel to our Fairfax, VA, office and other customer sites as required.

The selected candidate will design, develop, modify, and evaluate signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype development systems. The candidate will be instrumental in the software engineering and advanced research and development associated with designing of products during pre-delivery design, integration, and acceptance. Duties will include all aspects of software engineering, including requirements analysis and specification, software design, implementation and integration, testing, maintenance and installation. Finally, you may have technical responsibility for planning and executing technical programs, projects, or phases of projects to include customer interface, requirements development, design reviews, and technical interchanges, and all aspects of prototype/product software design, development, demonstration, and evaluation.

Basic Requirements:- US citizenship – due to the nature of the work and contract requirement- Ability to obtain a SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance – due to contract requirement- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or equivalent experience- Minimum 3 years experience writing software using C/C , Python, or Java
