Job Summary
In the Fleet Support role, you play a crucial role in the heart of our logistics operations. Reporting to the Director of Distribution, you will collaborate closely with the Fleet Equipment Supervisor and logistics team, ensuring our fleet is well-maintained, compliant with DOT regulations, and operates efficiently. This position is the linchpin for information flow between drivers, repair shops, vendors, and our logistics team, demanding a keen eye for detail and the ability to follow through reliably on tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate closely with key personnel to maintain and service our fleet, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Manage and update fleet programs, including vehicle information, maintenance services, and repairs.
- Oversee the Preventive Maintenance schedule, coordinate loaner vehicles/equipment, and keep all stakeholders informed.
- Maintain documentation for fleet vehicles, including registration, insurance, and compliance records.
- Assist with troubleshooting logistics team issues, including ELD and driver support.
What You'll Bring
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least three years of office work experience.
- Familiarity with compliance materials is preferred.
- A willingness to learn, technical aptitude, flexibility, and a coachable attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the role.
- Must pass all company drug and alcohol screens.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
