Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists Housekeepers by stripping soiled room linen in departed rooms.
• Drop necessary linens in stripped rooms.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs without assistance.
• Assists staff by moving heavy furniture when necessary.
• Provide clean, neat, and functional guest rooms in accordance with the policies, standards and guidelines established by Azure Palm Hot Springs Resort.
• Clean and service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures when necessary.
• Clean guest room mineral tubs in accordance with safety procedures.
• Works in a fast-paced environment with time constraints and timing deadlines related to production standards and requirements.
• Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Manager or Management.
• Clean and maintain Public Areas in accordance with company mission and safety procedures.
• Conduct duties in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner.
• Restock Housekeeping carts and storage rooms with clean linen.
•  Greet all guests with a positive attitude using the 10/5 rule.
• Be able to assist the guests and their housekeeping related requests.
• Maintains a professional appearance in appropriate attire.
• Complies with hotel’s health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Ensures the safety and well-being of guests by checking guest occupancy and verifying that rooms have been vacated and reports any inconsistencies to the Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, or the Hotel Manager on Duty.
• Follow all procedures when responding to any hotel emergency or safety situations, including but not limited to, handling blood-borne pathogens, sharps, etc.
• Participates in Emergency Procedures as per hotel’s Policy & Procedures
• Immediately reports and turns over found items to Housekeeping Office in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Perform duties assigned by Housekeeping Manager or Hotel Management Staff, including Laundry Attendant, and/or Public Areas Attendant duties.
• Is ideally bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by the management.
