We are looking for an outstanding Executive Director to lead our community, located in Stoughton, WI. This person is highly motivated, professional, and a team player who is not afraid of challenges while managing budgets and forecasts. They will be dedicated to promoting the highest well-being for our residents with Alzheimer's disease and other types of Dementia..
Job Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for effective and economical operation of all departments, insuring thorough, tactful leadership and supervision that assures company goals and objectives are accomplished efficiently following established standards and budgetary allocations.
- Monitor each department, communicate and interpret policies, evaluate performance, provide feedback and assist, coach and discipline staff as necessary
- Demonstrates the ability to identify and build relationships within the local area that drives businesses into the community
- Develops a thorough working knowledge of state regulations, policies and procedures dictated for residents; ensures compliance.
- Ensures all resident administrative files are well maintained, current and in compliance with state regulations.
Executive Director Qualifications - A bachelor or associate degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years of related work experience in assisted living or long-term care
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Ability to maintain and uphold regulatory compliance
- A genuine passion for senior care and staff through honesty and integrity
- Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
- Assess services and be responsible for setting service rates
- Monitor the health and emotional conditions of each resident
- Perform documentation and observation techniques to benefit residents
- Conduct meetings and in-service training; make arrangements for staff who cannot attend
- Ensure safe and appropriate administration of medications by properly trained staff
- Ensure the health and safety of residents with regular training, drills and equipment reviews
