**Description**
**JOB FUNCTIONS:**
***Guest relations and service***
* Supervises guest registration and assists when needed.
* Blocks all special service requests.
* Knows daily events, groups and VIP pre-registration, and functions.
* Prepares all group arrivals.
***Staffing***
* Provides technical assistance to Front Office agents when needed.
* Trains, counsels, supervises, and makes recommendations
* Checks staffing for coverage and appearance.
* Assigns duties and briefs staff on a daily basis.
* Attends Front Office meetings on a regular basis.
***Problem solving***
* Briefs supervisors on pending problems.
* Inspects rooms when necessary.
***Administrative and controlling tasks***
* Checks and maintains supplies.
* Prepares all daily reports.
* Checks room status and controls daily availability.
***Communication***
* Updates log book, back up lists, and prepares information for shift change.
* Obtains shifts change information at the beginning of the shift.
* Verifies computer entries and housekeeping reports against computer runs.

* Thorough knowledge of Front Office and Reservations operations.
