SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 6:00pm; Fridays, 9:00am - 1:00pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Support the machining and manufacturing processes of the Company.
• Maintain chip/scrap removal from machines – 2 times per day.
• Receive incoming materials and outsourced products – within 24 hours of delivery.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in proper location – within 24 hours of delivery.
• Run saws and stage materials in accordance with shop schedule.
• Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by cutting, picking and delivering materials and components to the shop floor as direct by Machining Leader.
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production travelers.
• Transfer any unused material back off of work travelers and into inventory, label & store material in proper location.
• Maintain and control Heat/Lot certificates so that all material is labeled and accurate. For any jobs requiring more than one heat lot, contact Lead to split the job into multiple jobs based on the qty per each heat lot.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS, included but not limited to:

• Punch in and out of operations accurately
• Record completed quantities and scrap accurately on traveler, on in-progress documentation and in JobBOSS
• In-progress documentation includes, but is not limited to scrap tags, inspection reports, 1st piece, WIP cards, etc.
• Perform each operation within estimated times
• Keep a clean and organized desk and work area daily. Main area of responsibility is the B2 Receiving Dock.
• Be able to perform all operations on skills matrix within assigned cell
• Produce parts and assemblies to quality specifications
• Complete all secondary operations to AEI workmanship standards

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

• No supervisory responsibilities
• This position reports directly to the Operations Leader

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE OR LICENSES

• High School diploma or equivalent, required
• Must have valid Driver’s License

• The work is performed in our plant facilities. The employee is exposed to noise, dust, dirt, grease and machinery with moving parts. The noise level is occasionally loud.
